Wishing you a

About us
Meet the Kirschner family
Welcome to St. Leonhard im Pitztal. We are so happy that you found us. We have been welcoming guests to the Pitztal valley in Tirol for over 30 years, and we would love you to be one of them.
When we opened our Romantika apartment/bed and breakfast in 1991, we never imagined how quickly 30 years would pass, and a lot has changed since back then. Our daughters Helena and Antonia were born in 1995 and 1997, completing our family, and today they are enriching our family business with their invaluable support. We remodelled our hotel for the first time in 2007, adding the element rooms, the reception area and the breakfast room. In 2016, we decided to expand and redesign our spa area, which has been received with great success. During more renovation work in 2019, we added a lift and staircase.
We want you to enjoy your time with us right from the very moment you get here. Who are we? We are Albert, Erika, Helena and Antonia.

How we see sustainability
The Hotel Garni*** Romantika goes green
The unique environment that the surrounding nature gives us, our traditional culture and our own special take on life are the reasons why people come to Tirol: to live, work and spend their holidays here.
And to make sure that this can continue long into the future, it is important for us to protect the treasures of our homeland and to live in harmony with the nature that surrounds us.
.
Our hotel was founded over 30 years ago. Starting out as a small bed and breakfast, over the past decades we have been steadily expanding our hotel and our services to our guests. But one thing has always stayed the same: our mindful and sustainable approach to people and nature, and this can be perceived in everything we do – in our appreciation of our employees and guests, the careful way we use our natural resources and our conscious conserving of energy and food.
We see nature as our source of motivation and strength for everything we do, and we consider it our responsibility to use this living and recreation area sustainably, and to protect it.
Tirol Climate Alliance – member since 2020
The Tirol Climate Alliance is part of the largest climate protection network in Europe and is committed to ensuring environmentally friendly mobility, promoting a sustainable lifestyle and creating a climate-friendly world in order to tackle local and regional environmental problems for a future worth living in Tirol and worldwide.
The Pitztal valley – a Clean Area Region
Since 2020, the entire Pitztal valley has been one of four Clean Area Regions, Clar for short, with the aim of developing it into a climate-friendly region, protecting Tirol's precious environment and keeping it intact.
This includes measures such as
- reducing the ecological footprint of local people and guests
- providing climate-friendly mobility by expanding the public transport network
- developing the valley sustainably
- organising Green Events, such as the Glacier Marathon
marketing regional products .
The Sustainable Development Goals
under the 2030 Agenda
In addition to these measures, at the Romantika 3-star bed-and-breakfast hotel we also uphold the ideals of the 2030 Agenda, which has set 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for socially, economically and environmentally sustainable development.
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.
